We have four airedales, as different as they could be. Jeep who is the perpetual puppy going on six, is the comic. As a youngster he house-trained quite quickly. He loved the outdoors and his only accidents happened when we were negligent in gettin him out fast enough. Until he found the closet. We have a walk-in closet that somehow had escaped his knowledge until he was about 5 months old. He would wander in, nose around for the perfect target, take careful aim and pee into one of my husbands' shoes.Unfortunately Gregg discovered this habit while putting on one of the targeted shoes. Of course we started closing the closet at night, but, in typical airedale fashion, Jeep managed to sneak his way in at odd times and do his thing. He managed to fill up 5 different shoes. Always with perfect aim. Not a drop on the carpet!
